Dependent Care Dependent Care Assistance Caring for a family member - no matter their age - can be taxing both emotionally and financially. Bon Secours Virginia offers a number of benefits to help employees who need dependent care. This includes support for child care, eldercare and a number of other services. Employees, both full-time and part-time, are eligible for several programs that assist with sick and well child care and eldercare. The assistance is available through our Bon Secours Virginia Family Centers. Employees making $11 per hour or less are entitled to child-care subsidies of up to 50 percent which can be used at any of the health systems' three on-site award-winning Family Centers which offer spaces for over 500 children, infants through teens. Subsidies amount to about $20,000 annually. The subsidy does require an application process and is dependent on available space.
