Several specific programs are available to assist employees who are caregivers for elderly relatives.

Elder Care Home Health

For at home eldercare, Bon Secours Richmond will provide a 50 percent subsidy for CNA s, LPNs, or RN s to care for employees’ aging relatives. Costs are payable through payroll deduction. Each employee is allowed up to 10 utilizations per year, with a four-hour minimum and 10-hour maximum per day.

Caring for Care Givers

This benefit provides opportunities for personal time off for caregivers, and it includes resources, referrals, and classes and support groups for employees caring for elderly relatives.
