Forgivable Loan

Bon Secours is continuously searching for ways to increase the benefits we offer our employees. With help from Fannie Mae, Bon Secours has negotiated with SunTrust Mortgage, Inc. for employees to receive home ownership education and certain monetary discounts. In addition, employees are eligible for forgivable loans.

Through SunTrust, Bon Secours is offering $5,000 forgivable loans to 10 qualifying employees on a first come first served basis. Employees can apply any time after the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment.

To qualify, an employee must:

    • Be employed full or part-time
    • Have a combined family income of less than $65,000
    • Be a first time home buyer (have not owned a home in 3 years)
    • Pre-qualify with SunTrust Mortgage

Also, SunTrust offers a $350 credit toward closing cost. Employees should let their SunTrust Mortgage representative know that they are eligible for the discount prior to their closing.
