Dr. Spence received his medical degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and completed his residency at the Medical College of Virginia Riverside Family Practice in Newport News. He is board certified in family practice. Dr. Spence was the Virginia Academy of Family Physicians' Physician of the Year 2007.
Dr. Villar-Gosalvez attended Old Dominion University for his Ph.D. and received his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine.
