Ronald Artz, M.D., AAHIVS
Dr. Artz received his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohioand completed his residency at the Northwestern University McGawMedical Center. He completed his fellowship in Infectious Diseases atthe University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Medical Center. He isboard certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases and iscertified by the American Academy of HIV Medicine. He is a clinicalinvestigator of the Richmond AIDS Consortium (RAC), a NIH communityresearch group. He currently is chairman of the Infectious DiseaseDivision at Memorial Regional Medical Center.

Brian Foster, M.D.
Dr. Foster received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the Medical College of Virginia. He is board certified in internal medicine.

David Kelly, M.D.
Dr. Kelly received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia and completed his residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He is board certified in internal medicine.

Jason Lee, M.D.
Dr. Lee received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia where he also completed his residency. He is board certified in internal medicine.

Jennifer Smith, M.D.
Dr. Smith attended the College of William and Mary for her undergraduate degree. She received her medical degree from Georgetown University Medical School and completed her Internal Medicine residency at the Naval Medical Center San Diego. Dr. Smith is board certified in Internal Medicine.

Shannon Garrett, NP
Shannon Garrett, our Nurse Practitioner, received her Bachelors of Arts at the University of Washington. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Duke University School of Nursing. Ms. Garrett is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Thomas Young, M.D.
Dr. Young attended the University of Virginia for his undergraduate degree. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia – Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, where he went on to complete his Internal Medicine residency. Dr. Young is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the Association of Emergency Physicians, directing the emergency department in Gloucester for 14 years. He is very active in the community and served as the director of county rescue squads for 15 years. Dr. Young is returning to the Richmond area to be close to family and friends.
